About the treatment

What is reflexology?

Reflexology is usually enjoyed as a deeply relaxing complementary therapy. The practitioner works methodically across the feet—or sometimes the hands—using small pressure movements. Traditional reflexology maps these areas to other parts of the body, although these proposed links are not established medical diagnoses.

Who it may suit

  • People who want a treatment without full-body massage
  • Tired feet and a preference for focused touch
  • A calming session that can be received fully clothed
  • Clients curious about a traditional complementary therapy

What happens in a session

  • A short consultation about comfort and relevant health information
  • You remain clothed apart from footwear and socks when feet are treated
  • Thumb and finger pressure adjusted to your sensitivity
  • A quiet, unhurried session with time to relax

Choosing your session length

Reflexology is usually available in 30, 60, 90 or 120 min. A longer booking means more time for the reflexology treatment on the feet or hands—not a full-body massage or an additional treatment.

30 min

A concise reflexology treatment focused on the feet or hands, depending on what you arrange.

60 min

More time for an unhurried reflexology treatment with detailed pressure work on the chosen feet or hands.

90 min

A longer reflexology session that keeps the same focus while allowing a slower, more spacious pace.

120 min

The most extended reflexology option, with additional time devoted to the reflexology treatment itself.

Longer bookings remain reflexology sessions; they do not add a different massage treatment. Session lengths are confirmed as you book.

Your comfort comes first

Every session should be adapted to you. Share relevant health information, say what you want from the appointment and speak up about pressure or positioning at any point.

Please note: Reflexology should be viewed as complementary relaxation and wellbeing care. It is not a diagnostic tool or replacement for evidence-based medical treatment.

Reflexology questions

Does reflexology hurt?

It should remain comfortable. Some points may feel tender, but tell the practitioner if the pressure is too strong or uncomfortable.

Can reflexology diagnose problems elsewhere in the body?

No. Traditional reflexology uses maps linking points on the feet or hands with the body, but tenderness in a point is not a medical diagnosis.

Do I stay clothed?

Yes. For foot reflexology you normally remove only footwear and socks; for hand reflexology you remain fully clothed.

Can it replace medical treatment?

No. Reflexology is complementary wellbeing care and should not replace evidence-based assessment or treatment for a health condition.

How long should a reflexology session be?

You can choose 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes as you book. A longer appointment means more time for the reflexology treatment on the feet or hands; it does not turn the booking into a full-body massage.
